Custom aluminium gangway fabrication
Purpose-built aluminium gangway incorporating a lightweight structural frame, non-slip tread-plate walkway and integrated access platform for marine service.
Mild-steel, stainless-steel and aluminium fabrication-from drawings and workshop manufacture to onboard modification, installation and handover.
Naude Industries fabricates components that must fit, function and survive in real marine and industrial environments.
We can work from an existing sample, client drawing, site measurement or defined requirement. Connected drawing, CNC plasma cutting, machining, welding and onsite capability allow the work to move from initial concept through workshop preparation and final installation.
Completed and in-progress Naude Industries projects selected to show scale, material range and the practical demands of marine work.

Workshop fabrication and welding of large-bore mild-steel pipework for a vessel’s main-engine cooling system, including formed sections, flanges and a branch connection.

Custom mild-steel cooling pipe sections fabricated in the workshop for installation aboard a vessel.

Matching winch rope guides formed from 12 mm mild-steel plate and completed with reinforced mounting lugs for the vessel’s rope-handling arrangement.

Fabrication and finishing of a substantial 25 mm stainless-steel component for a yacht, demonstrating heavy-section capability with a clean marine finish.

Workshop fabrication of a custom mild-steel access platform manufactured to suit the vessel’s available space and operational requirements.

Aluminium welding of a vessel capstan followed by machining support to recover the component for continued service.

Controlled thermal cutting aboard a vessel to remove an existing steel equipment base and prepare the area for repair, replacement or new installation.

An 80 mm × 8 mm mild-steel flat bar rolled to form an approximately 1,100 mm diameter ring, demonstrating controlled section rolling for custom fabricated components.
A complete workshop sequence showing the drawing, controlled heating and forming, team fabrication and the assembled fairlead before coating and installation.

The fairlead was manufactured from 60 mm mild-steel round bar and mounted to a 20 mm mild-steel plate. The sequence demonstrates practical development from the supplied dimensions through hot forming, fit-up and welded assembly.
Where a drawing is unavailable, an existing part can help establish the dimensions and function needed to manufacture a repeatable replacement component.

This project demonstrates practical reverse-engineering support: understanding the function of the supplied sample, preparing the component for repeat manufacture and producing a controlled batch for critical equipment.
Fabrication work can be supported by drawings, CNC plasma cutting, machining, protective coating, access and onsite installation where these form part of the agreed project scope.
Material grade, inspection requirements, pressure testing, coating systems and third-party certification are confirmed for each project where applicable.
Yes. We can assess a physical sample, sketch, site measurement or client drawing and determine what information is needed before fabrication.
Yes. Naude Industries fabricates mild-steel, stainless-steel and aluminium pipework for marine and industrial applications. Pipe size, material grade, service, flange requirements, testing and installation scope must be confirmed for each project.
Yes, subject to access, isolation, hot-work controls, permits and the agreed scope. Work can include removal of existing steelwork, onboard modification, welding and installation.
Drawing preparation and CNC plasma cutting can be integrated into the fabrication scope, particularly where parts must be repeated or developed from an existing sample.
